The El Dorado Economic Development Board is soliciting Requests for Qualifications for legal services in a continuing effort to acquire land to build the proposed multipurpose conference center.

During an El Dorado City Council meeting on Thursday, Mayor Mike Dumas said the RFQs are due in his office by May 16.

The city and EEDB are working with seven property owners within the proposed site for the conference center, a facility that would be owned by the city of El Dorado and operated and maintained by South Arkansas Community College.
