LITTLE ROCK – Gov. Mike Beebe Friday announced his intent to grant a pardon to an El Dorado man.

Harold White of El Dorado was convicted in 1987 of delivery of marijuana. All terms of White’s sentence have been completed and there have been no further criminal-law violations, according to a news release from Beebe’s office.

Thirteenth Judicial District Prosecutor Robin Carroll objects to the pardon application, the release said.
