Justina McAlphin, a 12-year member of the Boys and Girls Club of El Dorado, was among 11 teens competing to represent Arkansas in the Boys and Girls Club of America’s Youth of the Year state competition.

Although McAlphin was not selected to represent Arkansas at BGCA’s Southwest Regional competition, she remained positive. “It was a wonderful opportunity to represent the Boys and Girls Club of El Dorado and meet kids from around the state who are making a difference in their own hometowns,” McAlphin said.
