More charges have been filed against Larry D. Slaughter, the Louisiana man accused of fleecing tens of thousands of dollars from area land owners after making deals to harvest their timber and then allegedly stealing money from those deals.

The office of 13th Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney Robin Carroll on Monday filed two Class B felony theft of property ($2,500 or more) charges against Slaughter, adding to his ever-growing court file.
