U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to host public meeting at SouthArk
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will be host a public meeting Monday to request input on developing a Comprehensive Conservation Plan at the Felsenthal and Overflow National Wildlife Refuges. The meeting will be from 6 to 8 p.m. in the South Arkansas Community College Computer Technology Building.
The CCP will set forth wildlife, habitat and public use priorities and guide management decisions for the next 15 years. The purpose of these meetings is to find out what the public’s ideas are on management of the refuges so they can be addressed in the planning process.
