An El Dorado Planning and Zoning Commission subcommittee is continuing an effort to amend the city’s zoning code to address signage in various zones.

During a meeting Thursday, the committee agreed to take a recommendation on proposed changes and additions regarding signage in the existing zoning code to the full commission on Monday.

Now that the El Dorado City Council has adopted amendments to the city’s general sign ordinance, the subcommittee has shifted its focus to signs in specific zones within the city.
