A petition was granted in the Supreme Court of Arkansas Thursday for the surrender of the law license of El Dorado attorney Don G. Gillaspie, according to Arkansas Supreme Court Opinion No. 08-490.

The decision stated, “Upon the initiation of his petition, by recommendation of the Supreme Court Committee on Professional Conduct and in lieu of disbarment proceedings, we hereby accept the sworn petition and surrender the law license of Donny G. Gillaspie, El Dorado, Arkansas, to practice law in the state of Arkansas.
