The annual South Arkansas Mayhaw Festival will be held from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday at the John Newton House, 510 N. Jackson in El Dorado. A 5-K run/walk will begin at 8 a.m. at the John Newton House.

The festival will include an antique car exhibit, antique and new quilts, the South Arkansas African American photo collection, Sons of Confederate Veterans, Dutch oven demonstration, historical stories, stories for children, Mayhaw tree art contest and exhibit, kitchen items and a rummage sale.
