STRONG – The Log a Load for Kids auction held Friday at the Molnaird Brothers Sawmill in Strong raised $19,204 for Arkansas Children’s Hospital and the American Cancer Society. Last year’s auction brought in just over $11,000.

The event has been held here since the early 1990s.

Each year, loggers from several area mills bring fully loaded trucks to the Molnaird Mill so that bidders can vie for premium South Arkansas pine and hardwood timber.
