El Dorado resident Mike Strickland and his wife, Elaine Wheelus, got a big surprise last weekend when their usually chipper dog, Sandy, didn’t eat a thing.

“She wasn’t eating and just wasn’t acting like herself,” said Strickland.

After searching Sandy’s favorite spots, Strickland discovered the dog had eaten most of the contents of a tube of Gorilla Glue, a powerful adhesive used in carpentry.
