Parkers Chapel Fire Chief Steven Keaster, 43, was arrested on Wednesday for third-degree battery after he allegedly struck 21-year-old Junction City resident Caleb Williams several times in the head with a club.

No bond was set, and Keaster was immediately released from custody. A court date has not been set.

The arrest stems from an incident earlier this week involving Keaster’s son, Jeffery Keaster, who has allegedly been in an ongoing argument with Williams about an unknown female.
