Larry D. Slaughter’s file at the 13th Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney’s Office grew thicker this week. The 63-year-old Downsville, La., man was charged on Wednesday with defrauding a secured creditor, a Class D felony, and theft of property by deception, a Class B felony, according to court documents.

These charges were tacked on to a Class C felony forgery charge filed against Slaughter in March.

If convicted, Slaughter could face up to 36 years in the Arkansas Department of Correction.
