During Union County Circuit Court Tuesday, Michael D. Hunter was sentenced to one year in the county jail after pleading guilty to delivery of a controlled substance (crack cocaine). He was also given nine years suspended imposition of sentence.

Also during court on Tuesday, Jared Vernon Toney was given five years suspended imposition of sentence after pleading guilty to violating probation. He was also ordered to pay applicable court costs.
