Women’s heart health focus of annual luncheon

The third annual Go Red for Women luncheon was held Friday in El Dorado, as part of efforts to raise awareness of women’s heart health by the American Heart Association and Medical Center of South Arkansas.

Dr. Steve Smart, MCSA board member, commended event co-chairs Shelly Voelker and Deborah Nolan, for what he described as a “remarkable feat.” The event was held at El Dorado Golf and Country Club.
