Linda Miller, former treasurer/recorder for the town of Felsenthal, received five years probation and a $1,000 fine after pleading guilty Friday morning to theft of property over $2,500, a class B felony, according to 13th Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney Robin Carroll. Miller was also ordered to pay applicable court costs.

“Ms. Miller made full restitution in the amount of $84,701 to the Town of Felsenthal,” Carroll said, adding that Union County Sheriff Ken Jones delivered the restitution check to City Hall.
