Some El Dorado Water Utilities customers have recently cried foul about an odor emanating from their water.

Larry Waldrop, general manager of the Utilities, explained that the odor is hydrogen sulfide. Residents on the west side of town, primarily from the Meadow View and Woodwind neighborhoods, both off U.S. 82, have complained about it for about two weeks.
