• Wayne D. Shockley, 48, of El Dorado, was arrested Tuesday for theft of property. Shockley was identified as a suspect in the theft of an antique diamond ring. Patricia Bonner reported that the ring had been stolen from her car, noting that Shockley, a former co-worker, had moved her car for her on Saturday. El Dorado police also learned that a man matching Shockley’s description attempted to pawn a ring, similar to the one described by Bonner, at a local pawn shop on Monday.
