A technology report due at the Arkansas Department of Education by May 1, for review to receive E-RATE funds, was approved by members of the El Dorado School Board Monday night.

Rhonda Simmons, assistant superintendent, presented the report which she said in year’s past, was due in October. Due to the new due date for the plan, members of the board suspended their rules to consider a proposal for 30 days and approved Simmons’ plan, which includes an Internet safety policy.
