Garry Smith, a candidate for the District 7 state representative seat, told the El Dorado Lions Club Tuesday that he is solution-oriented.

Smith, who has served 14 years on the Ouachita County Quorum Court, said he learned early on in life how to be a servant for the people. “My father was a minister,” he said, adding that he grew up seeing his father take calls and help people at all hours of the day and night.
