Red River Radio working to fix satellite damaged by recent storms, manager says

If you’ve tuned your dial to Red River Radio, 90.0 FM lately, you probably noticed a lot of static in place of NPR programs like “All Things Considered” and “Morning Edition.”

Recent storms damaged the station’s Union County satellite, knocking out Red River Radio’s service in much of South Arkansas.

The satellite is used to link the transmitter here with the home base in Shreveport, La. The transmitter was not damaged.
