Water outage planned Tuesday

CALION – A water outage will occur in the city of Calion between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Tuesday.

The areas affected by the outage will start on Mill Street at the Post Office and go north to the river, and west to U.S. 167.

The area will include Mill, Thomas, McKay, Long, Cummins, A, B, Round Top and Gum Streets and Oak Loop.

After the water service is turned back on, residents in the outage area will be under a boil order until further notice. All water for consumption should be boiled. The boil order...
