Nona Freeman, Arkansas’ own author and veteran missionary, will be speaking at the South Arkansas Arts Center at 3 p.m. on Saturday. Everyone is invited to attend.

She left America in 1948 with five small children and she and her husband spent 41 years in Africa. Even after her husband’s death in 1999, and now in her 90s, she continues to travel to serve others.
