Local school board will meet

A proposed 2008-2009 district calendar for the El Dorado School District will be considered when the board meets at 7 tonight in the board room of the Administration Office, 200 W. Oak St. The public is invited to attend.

Board members will also recognize Union County Spelling Bee winner Amber Corpus and runner-up, Cordell Griffin; student of the month from Hugh Goodwin, Mallory Stringer and teacher of the month, Stacy Gulick.
