Evidence indicates Camden woman died as result of accident, report says

Camden News CAMDEN – A preliminary report from the state Medical Examiner’s Office says Keaton Byrd died as a result of an automobile accident, Camden police Sgt. Tami Poole today told the Camden News. “There was no evidence of foul play,” Poole said, adding evidence indicates the 23-year-old Camden woman drowned. On Monday, emergency workers recovered Byrd’s body from Two Bayou Creek, about 500 feet from where her submerged car had been found about five hours earlier near a bridge on Cash Road between California Avenue and the ...
