Missing Camden woman’s car found in creek

Body of Keaton Byrd was found nearby, local authorities announce

CAMDEN – The search for a missing Camden woman led to the recovery of a submerged car around noon Monday. The body of Keaton Byrd, 23, was found near the vehicle at approximately 5:20 p.m., said Sgt. Tami Poole, Camden Police Department.

The CPD, Ouachita County Sheriff’s Office and State Police searching for Byrd went to a location on Cash Road when vehicle tracks found on Cash appeared to veer off into Two Bayou Creek.
