CALION – Rod Mills, president of the Norphlet School Board, addressed the Calion City Council during the February meeting regarding the upcoming special election to be held March 11. The school board is requesting that the district increase the current millage by 5 mills. Mills asked for the citizens to support the proposal so needed repairs can be made to the school.

A community meeting will be held in the school auditorium on Feb. 25.
