Hazel Lee Jackson, 68, of Strong, died Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at Medical Center of South Arkansas.

She was born on May 13, 1940, in Strong, the daughter of Jesse and Artice Craig Loggin. She was a 1958 graduate of Gardner High School in Strong and was a 20-year employee of South Arkansas Home Health Care. She was a member of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Strong.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Bobby Sewell and Silvanus Loggin.

Survivors include her husband, Q.T. Jackson of Strong; two sons, Terry Jackson of Strong and Carl Jackson of Oxnard, Calif.; five daughters, Letetia J. Christian of El Dorado, Sharon J. King of Hot Springs, Erica Jackson and Katherine J. Waits of Little Rock, and Kathleen J. Torrence of Oakland, Calif.; five brothers, George Loggin of El Dorado, James, Glenn and Lazell Loggin of Strong, and Lovell Norwood of Detroit; two sisters, Shirley Loggin of Pflugerville, Texas, and Dorothy Lee of Detroit; 10 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Strong with the Rev. Kenneth W. Loggin officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery on New London Road in Strong under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home.

Public viewing will be from 8 to 9:30 a.m. today at the funeral home.

The family will meet with friends after the service in the fellowship hall of the church.
