Larry Dean, 66, of Monticello, died Sunday, June 29, 2008, at Bradley County Medical Center in Warren.

He was born Aug. 5, 1941, in Ingalls, the son of Garland Dean and Annie Johnson Dean. He was a retired radio broadcaster, having started in radio in 1961. He was a graduate of Vick High School and a member of Landmark Baptist Church in the Gravel Ridge Community in Bradley County.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Charles, Johnny Bob and Rudy Dean.

Survivors include his wife, Dana Brown Dean of Monticello; two daughters, Cynthia McNabb of Morrilton and La Cinda Dean of Heber Springs; three stepchildren, Kenny Davis and Lance Davis, both of Monticello, and Staci Gregory of England; two brothers, Billy Dean of Medford, Ore., and Joe Dean of Crossett; four sisters, Linda Stanford and Jennifer Harrod, both of Hermitage, Charlotte Ferrell of Johnsville and Sandra Judkins of Warren; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home Chapel in Monticello. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery.
