J.D. Williams, 76, of Dallas, died Sunday, June 1, 2008, at his residence.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth L. Williams of Dallas; two sons, Edward Williams and Wallace Brantley, both of Dallas; and one brother, Eddie L. Williams of Dallas.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Henderson’s Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Turner Hardin officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in West Cemetery in Magnolia under the direction of Henderson’s Mortuary.

Visitation will be held from noon to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home. A wake will be held from 6 until 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
