Melba Dean Miller, 80, of El Dorado, died on Friday, May 2, 2008, at Courtyard Nursing Home. She was born on Feb. 11, 1928, in El Dorado to Herbert and Estelle Jean Miller.

Melba retired from Murphy Oil and was a member of Second Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother and two sisters. Survivors include loving cousins.

Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. today in Parkers Chapel Cemetery with Dr. Dwain Miller officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors in El Dorado.

Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. at the cemetery.
