There’s nothing like some good soaking rains to wash away the driest July on record for Union County.

These parts have been blessed with rain over the past few days – some areas more generously than others.

Rains Tuesday brought as much as 4 inches in many areas of the city by noon, which caused flooding along several city streets. And rain is in the forecast for the remainder of the week.
