Homes of area residents who’ve volunteered to serve as host families for the Babe Ruth League regional tournament, which is being hosted Friday-Tuesday by Union County, will begin filling up today. Parents, coaches and sports fans will be staying in local hotels and patronizing other businesses and facilities in our community.

The El Dorado-Union County Recreation Complex will be the site for the tournament. The winning team that emerges will represent the region in the Senior Babe Ruth World Series in Newar k, Ohio.
