Action during last week’s Union County Quorum Court meeting left us just as confused as justices of the peace and more than a bit concerned about how much consideration is given to certain issues.

Justices voted to approve Resolution No. 382, which they thought was related to a grant for the county’s Class 4 landfill that’s currently under construction on U.S. 82 East, approximately three miles outside of El Dorado.

It turns out that this resolution deals with a Parkers Chapel road improvement project near Tetra Technologies’ new calcium chloride plant.
