El Dorado is once again in the national spotlight for the El Dorado Promise scholarship program.

The CBS Evening News featured the El Dorado Promise in a piece that aired Monday night. The El Dorado Forward/El Dorado Promise marketing committees had expected to receive advance notice of the piece airing, so that the information could be shared ahead of time with local folks interested in watching.
