Today is election day for runoff races in Arkansas.

Polls will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. today so that citizens living in the district may cast ballots in the race for Arkansas House District 7. Yancey Kyle of Smackover and Garry Smith of Camden/Harmony Grove are vying for the seat.

District 7 includes parts of Union and Ouachita counties. In Union County, the district covers the areas of Caledonia, Mount Union, Parkers Chapel, Calion, Hibanks, Norphlet, Smackover, Three Creeks, Wesson, Union, Junction City, Lawson and Strong.
