Lucy Mae Miles, 72, of El Dorado, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House.

The daughter of Charlie and Annie M. Boone Keaton, she was born April 23, 1936, in Lillie, La.

She was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church in the Salem Community. She was a retired nurses’ aid.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Grover C. Miles.

Survivors include one son, Bobby Ray Miles of El Dorado; one daughter, Julie Miles of Junction City; one brother, Charles Keaton of Houston, Texas; five sisters, Mary Cobb and Tiny Keaton of El Dorado, Christine Malone of Junction City, and Virginia Evans and Shirley Moore of Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at Salem Missionary Baptist Church in the Salem Community with the Rev. Robert Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery in the Salem Community under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home.

The family will meet with friends after the service in the fellowship hall of Salem Missionary Baptist Church.

Public viewing will be held from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
