Mildred Lucille Pinkerton Hamm, 92, passed away Monday, Aug. 4, 2008. She was born June 14, 1916, and was the 15th child of James H. and Sally Dennis Thrailkill. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husbands, Grady Pinkerton and Bill Hamm.

She was the last surviving child of eight sisters, Mattie Anderson, Nettie Estell Thrailkill, Josephine T. Wilson, Sophina T. Winberry, Jhonie T. Butcher, Vera Rudd, Lera T. Warren, and Gracie Mae Thrailkill; six brothers, Bert Thrailkill, Clint Thrailkill, Herbert Thrailkill, Tunie Ray Thrailkill, Hammon Thrailkill, and Tim Thrailkill.

She was mother to one son, Clifton Pinkerton of Chidester; two daughters, Mildred Harrington of Chidester, and Debbie Randall of Camden. She was a grandmother to eight grandchildren, Robert Harrington of El Dorado, Arneita Cox of El Dorado, Tommy Harrington of El Dorado, Jeff Pinkerton of San Antonio, Texas, Robert Johnson of Temple, Texas, Trina Brickey of Redfield, Angie Langley of Camden, and Missy Branch of Camden. She was a great-grandmother to 14; great-great-grandmother to eight; and had numerous nieces and nephews.

She worked 18 years for International Paper Co. Bag Pack Division in Camden, and spent the last years of her life as a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

A graveside service will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at Bethesda Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Proctor Funeral Home in Camden is in charge of arrangements.
