Jerri Fanning, 78, of Benton, La., died on Friday, Aug. 1, 2008, in Bossier City, La.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday in Rose-Neath’s Bossier Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Patton officiating. Interment will be in Rose-Neath Cemetery under the direction of Rose-Neath Bossier Chapel in Bossier City.

She was born on Oct. 31, 1929, in Kentwood, La. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Smackover and a homemaker.

A daughter, Connie Lynn Fanning, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Harold Fanning of Benton; daughters Gail Fanning of Bossier City and Nancy Trosclair of Benton, La.; a grandson, Jacob Trosclair of Benton and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
