Willie R. Johnson, 66, of Mabelvale, died Saturday, July 26, 2008, at St. Vincent’s in Little Rock.

The son of James O. Johnson and Lizzie Davis Johnson, he was born March 15, 1942, in Bradley County. He was a retired communications specialist for the Pine Bluff Arsenal, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a Methodist.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Ella M. Johnson; one son, Marcus Johnson of Little Rock; three stepsons, Devin Jackson, Theo Jackson and Reginald Jackson, all of North Little Rock; one daughter, Rashonda Osberry of Sherwood; one stepdaughter, Tarria Jackson of North Little Rock; one grandchild and five step-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Frazer’s Chapel in Warren. Burial will be in Hall Cemetery near Banks under the direction of Frazer’s Funeral Home.
