Klondys Givens Creed, 94, of Bastrop, La., died Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at Morehouse General Hospital in Bastrop.

The son of William Ephram Creed and Ada Givens Creed, he was born Feb. 1, 1914, in Bradley County. He was a retired tool engineer for General Dynamics, a Mason and a member of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, William Mack Creed.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys McDougald Creed; one son, Roy R. Creed of Murietta, Calif.; one daughter, Hilda McFadden of Bedford, Texas; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Gravel Ridge Cemetery near Hermitage with the Rev. Cal Adams officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Frazer’s Funeral Home of Warren.
