Frances Diane Higgins, 57, of Taylor, died on Friday, July 25, 2008, at Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado.

She was born on Sept. 20, 1950, in Magnolia.

Mrs. Higgins was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Wesley Glass; her mother, Lucy Gertrude Pond; and a sister, Gwen Beshea.

She is survived by her husband, Aubrey Higgins of Taylor; two sons, Paul Higgins and wife, Leslie, and Douglas Higgins and wife, Wendy, all of Taylor; grandchildren Blair Britt and Jacob, Rusti, Cody and Michael Higgins; brothers Travis Glass and wife, Polly, of Taylor, Jimmy Glass and wife, Martha, of Willisville, Mike Glass of Springhill, La., Wesley Glass and wife, Samatha, of Taylor, and Timmy and Danny Glass, both of Taylor; sisters Brenda Pond of Humble, Texas, Patricia Booth and husband, Tommy, of Village, Sandra Hodge and husband, H.L., of Carthage, Texas, Deborah Ferrar of Waldo, Susan Angotti of Gary, Ind., Marily Baker of Dallas, Texas, and Nola Lucy (Sissy) Bishop of Carthage, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Monday at Forest Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Chet Johnson officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Grove Cemetery under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.

Visitation is until service time Monday at the church.
