Annie Bell Rogers, 92, of El Dorado, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at Life Touch Hospice House.

She was born July 12, 1916, in Union County, to Jessie Turner Mason and Ozenia Clifton Mason. She loved to crochet, read and her family. Annie was the owner of Southside Grocery.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband of 56 years, M.C. Rogers; daughter-in-law, Judy; three brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include a son, Jerry Alton Rogers of Gladewater, Texas; and two daughters, Carolyn Jordan of El Dorado and Marilyn Howe and her husband, James, of El Dorado.

Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Young’s Chapel with the Rev. Scott Ethridge officiating. Burial will be in Parnell Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

The family wishes to thank doctors, nurses, ambulance personnel and special caregivers for their help and assistance.
