Marvin “Danny” McDaniels, 53, died June 24, 2008, in Los Angeles.

The son of James and Earnestine Burns McDaniels, he was born June 17, 1955, in Pine Bluff. He worked for Mobil Oil Refinery for 10 years.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents; and his father, James McDaniel.

Survivors include his two daughters, Danielle Mosley and Demetra McDaniels; five grandchildren; his mother, Earnestine McDaniels of Los Angeles; seven brothers, James McDaniels of Smackover, Bobby McDaniels of Norphlet, Kenny McDaniels, Kevin Guthrie, Wendell McDaniels, Dewayne McDaniels, and Melvin McDaniels, all of Los Angeles; five sisters, Gwendolyn Williams of Virginia, Janis Pleasant, Travestine Casey, Natalie Owens, and Donna Hill, all of Los Angeles.

Funeral was held June 30 in California at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
