Boyce Walton Baker, 74, of Ingalls, died Thursday, July 17, 2008, at his home.

The son of Thomas Boyce Baker and Edna Mae Upshaw Baker, he was born March 22, 1934, in Warren. He was retired from the U.S. Navy, a retired employee of Sybron-Taylor and Asea Brown Boveri, an Assembly of God and member of the Hermitage Lions Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Bernice Million.

Survivors include his wife, Katrina Rodgers Baker; one son, Daniel Kerwin Baker of Fort Worth, Texas; three daughters, Roberta Ann Bielitz of Garland, Texas, Celia Lou Mears of Bryant, and Virginia Kaye Gaddis of Hermitage; one sister, Lynell Childress Matthews of Springdale;11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Frazer’s Chapel in Warren. Burial will be with a flag presentation in Union Hill Cemetery at Ingalls under the direction of Frazer’s Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
