Sammie Bradley Murray, 59, of El Dorado died on Sunday, July 13, 2008, at Medical Center of South Arkansas.

She was born on March 24, 1949, in Galveston, Texas, the daughter of Samuel T. and Wanda Jean Powell Bradley. She was raised in Texas City, Texas, and was of the Baptist faith.

Sammie was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Timothy Bradley; and her grandmother, Betty Ramsey.

Survivors include her husband, Van Murray of El Dorado; son Shawn Murray of Texas City; daughter Raechelle Page of Atlanta, Ga.; one brother, David Bradley of Santa Fe, Texas; and grandchildren Hudson, Madison and Kearson Murray, and Joseph and Emily Page.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday in Young’s Chapel with the Rev. Gary Canterberry officiating. Burial will be in Conway Cemetery in Conway, La., under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
