Derwin Wayne Roy Jr., 22, of Jonesboro, Ga., died Sunday, July 6, 2008, in Atlanta, Ga.

He was born May 18, 1986, in Indianapolis, Ind., and was the son of Derwin Sr. and Linda Roy. He was a member of Beulah Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta and was employed by Wendy’s Restaurant for 10 years.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Roy.

Survivors include his parents; grandparents, Bobbie Jean Roy, Nora Roy, Pearline and Limmie Gill; one brother, Terrance Roy; and one sister, Shemika Stuman.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Strong with Elder Robert Roy officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Reddick Funeral Home of Camden.

The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.
