Minerva Burson, 54, of El Dorado, died June 30, 2008, in El Dorado.

She was born Oct. 3, 1953, in Shreveport, La.

She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Grantham; her mother, Thelma McDonald Grantham; and two brothers, Dallas Grantham and Paul Madison Grantham.

Survivors include three sisters, Terry Lewis of El Dorado, Angela G. Grantham of Charlotte, N.C., and Joyce Noel of Arnaudville, La.; and two brothers, Johnny Leggett of Marshall, Texas, and Richard Grantham of Iowa, La.

Funeral was held Thursday, July 3, 2008, at 2 p.m. at San Patricio Baptist Church in Converse, La., with the Rev. Bob Hennigan and the Rev. Larry Lampey officiating. Burial was in Cassell Cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many, La.

A memorial service will be held in El Dorado at a later date.
