Mary Banks, 76, of Magnolia, died on Monday, June 30, 2008, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House.

She was born on Oct. 12, 1931, in Waldo to the late John Cooper and Callie Roberson-Cooper.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Llyod Banks; two brothers, Mozek and Ezek Cooper; one son, Gregory L. Grimmett; one daughter, Christine Grimmett; and two grandchildren.

She is survived by children Llyod and Roosevelt Banks, both of Magnolia, Nazaree Critten Jr., and Raymond Williams, both of Woodward, Okla., Sandra Kay Smith and Mary Lee Banks, both of Kansas City, and Gloria Ann Rose of Magnolia; 19 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Monday at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Magnolia with the Rev. John Adam Wright officiating.

Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Waldo under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
