Brenda Kay Hinton, 52, of El Dorado, died on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at Medical Center of South Arkansas.

She was born May 25, 1956, in Camden, the daughter of Webster and Mae Ola Hinton. She was a cashier and cook at Expressway in Smackover. She was a member of Sweet Canaan Baptist Church in Smackover.

She was preceded in death by her father and her paternal and maternal grandparents.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth D. Hinton and Darrell A. Hinton of Rockford, Ill.; her mother, Mae Ola Hall of Smackover; two brothers, Donnie C. Russ of Louann and Webster Hinton of Rockford; three sisters, Paula A. Watson and Barbara Gail Bonner of Smackover and Mary Linda Hinton of Rockford; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Sweet Canaan Baptist Church in Smackover with the Rev. Otis Stephens officiating.

Burial will be in Sweet Canaan in Smackover under the direction of Sims Mortuary.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. today at the mortuary. The family will be at the home of Paula Watson, 314 W. Fourth St., in Smackover.
