Tracie Lynn Ward, 43, of St. Amant, La., and formerly of El Dorado, died Wednesday, July 2, 2008/ in Walthall County, Miss.

Born Aug. 11, 1964, in Texarkana, Texas, the daughter of Sammy and Karen Belk Jeans, she was a member of the Baton Rouge, La., Local Union 198, and a mother who loved her children.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Karen Belk Banks.

Survivors include four children, Sammy and Dana Dosch and Christian and Jon Michael Ward, all of El Dorado; father and step-mother, Sammy and Sandra Kay Jeans of Strong; paternal grandmother, Frances Jeans of Texarkana, Ark.; stepmother, Merry Etta Moore of Frenchport; brother, Jeffery Lee Jeans of Hot Springs; and granddaughter, Sierra Michelle Dosch.

Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Green Grove Chapel with Bro. Ricky Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be at the church from noon until service time Saturday.
